With an upgraded air cushion design and sturdy metal construction, the 9.8ft Air Cushioned Light Stand from NEEWER offers exceptional stability for your photography equipment. The air cushion feature protects your equipment from sudden drops and minimizes vibrations, while also preventing finger pinches during height adjustments. The stand has a maximum vertical load capacity of 11lb/5kg.

The stand comes with a 5.1ft Extendable Boom Arm that can be adjusted from 35"/89cm to 61"/155cm. The arm can be swiveled and tilted for different angles, and can support a maximum horizontal load capacity of 11lb/5kg. It features separate tilt, pan, and arm lock knobs for secure positioning, as well as a cushioned grip on one end and a stainless steel 1/4" threaded screw on the other end for connecting various devices.

To enhance stability, the stand includes a 1KG counterweight and sandbag that can be used to improve overall stability, prevent tipping, and balance the boom arm when carrying heavy objects. The sandbag comes empty for convenience.

Adjusting the height and arm length is simple with the stand's telescopic columns and boom arm. The stand can be extended from 42"/106cm to 9.8'/3m in height, while the boom arm ranges from 35"/89cm to 61"/155cm in length. The collapsible design and rubber padded feet make the stand easy to transport and suitable for both outdoor and indoor shooting.

The stand also offers multiple mounting options with a 1/4” to 3/8” reversible screw adapter on the top, allowing compatibility with a wide range of photography devices including DSLR cameras, mirrorless cameras, ring lights, LED panel lights, and microphones.
